It Is Thankful Thursday!

Welcome to my newest blog site … trandymay.com. I encourage you to visit it often as I will be posting daily. The primary focus of my posts will be in the area of Personal Growth and Development, and will spill over into the Growth and Development of my Internet Networking Experiences.

Good morning, everyone … Isn’t this just a great day?

Today at Morning Motivator, Janet Legere brought us to focus on being grateful and thankful for or being and the things in each and every day that allow us to learn and grow.

Today’s session was begun with a quote from Pravs J., “Be thankful for the difficult times. During those times you grow. Be thankful for your limitations. Because they give you opportunities for improvement. Be thankful for each new challenge. Because it will build your strength and character. Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons.”

Say thank you today – for everything that comes your way.

I don’t know about you, but when I find myself not really feeling “up to the world” or kinda down, all I have to do is take a good look at all the many things I have to be thankful about, and immediately, yes immediately, I begin to feel better which naturally causes me to act better and I’m a Magnificent Randy again!

Many years ago, when I was confronting my alcoholism, I learned two very important things. First, I learned that it was very hard not to be depressed when I continually and routinely ingested a chemical that is considered a depressive agent. Secondly, I learned that compiling a “Gratitude List” at least once a day, was a very helpful and natural way for a person to combat any feelings of depression that were not actually clinical, in other words, clinical depression may require some form of medication but normal, cyclical depression can be treated with natural and conscious behaviors. Taking an inventory of all I have to be grateful and thankful for has worked for me for nearly 24 years now, and I can tell you, my life just keeps getting better and better as I practice this simple little action in my life.

Celebrate Thanksgiving Every Day Of Your Life …

Have a marvelously Happy and Thankful Day!
