Sept. 27 – Daily Reflection

Give Your Body Quality Fuel

Whenever you get in the car, what’s the first thing you do before leaving the driveway? You check your fuel level. Whether you’re just going to the corner store or to the four corners of the Earth, you always check it. Every journey needs the right type and right amount of fuel. Your health journey is no exception. To avoid sputtering, stalling and poor performance, make sure your body has what it needs to make the trip. Energy comes from whole grains and other natural foods. Try to have plenty of both on reserve and within easy reach. And avoid putting sugar in your “gas tank.” Drive on!
