Hello world! It is Worthy Wednesday!

Welcome to my newest blog site … trandymay.com. I encourage you to visit it often as I will be posting daily. The primary focus of my posts will be in the area of Personal Growth and Development, and will spill over into the Growth and Development of my Internet Networking Experiences.

Today, I want to share from my Morning Motivation session with Janet Legere. I attend these sessions every Monday through Friday at 10 am eastern time. I always come away with a new perspective, but most importantly, powerfully positive thinking about the day ahead of me. I am located in Central Time,  so this is a great start for my work days.

Today’s session was entitled Worthy Wednesday.  It began with a quote from Mark Twain, “You cannot depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus”. That really hit the nail on the head for me!

I can see that, most of my life, I suppressed my imagination. I seemed to always accept each day without realizing that I could make of that day whatever I chose to make of it. I just plundered along taking things in stride as best I could and you know, I remember so well how I felt at the end of those days. I felt like, whew, I made it through another day … I’m sure glad this day is over! I would wake up the next morning with the thought, oh crap, I have to get up and face another one! I did my very best, with the tools I had, to survive and find some form of peace, fulfillment and maybe, just maybe, a bit of happiness and joy. I bet it was hard for people to get any sort of good feelings from being around or even near me.

Well, I have begun a new life, with new tools this month. Yes, as of April 1, 2012. (OMG, I just realized what that day is celebrated for! No, it was was not a Joke, it was a great day!) I have embarked upon a journey that has a new road map, a map to happiness, success and prosperity in all things.

So, Worthy Wednesday was very good for me. The definition of worthy, 1: Possessing worth or value; deserving of respect or honor; having valuable or useful qualities. This really got my brain into motion. I could feel the power of positive thoughts about myself and my worthiness.

Janet talked about accepting that we can be or have what we need or want simply be allowing ourselves to dream and think about them. But the really important thing is this. Ideas and dreams can be magnetic, but unless we attach an emotion to them, they don’t stick, they just pass on by! I am feeling the passion in my dreams today. I am attaching that emotion to my goals and I will achieve them, one at a time, and in the proper time. Success will not come on an immediate basis, but as long as I begin each day with my dream goal(s) in mind and my plan of action before me, each day I will get a little closer to where I want to go and as long as I stay consistent, I will get to where I want to be!

Please join me again as often as you like and your comments about this post will be appreciated.

Have A Great Day and remember, attach an emotion to that dream or thought and it will become a reality.
